Forest & Climate Dialogues – an exchange of experiences on implementing forest protection on private land

Building on their extensive expertise in the field, BVRio, the Forest Code Observatory and Amigos da Terra – Brazilian Amazon are convening this session to foster dialogue on the role of the Forest Code in advancing Brazil’s climate commitments and ensuring environmental compliance across different levels of governance.

Panels:

• Panel 1: Climate, native vegetation and environmental compliance

• Panel 2: Environmental compliance at the state level

Speakers will include representatives from the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Management and Innovation, state governments, academia and civil society organisations.
