About the project
The project was developed in partnership by BVRio, the Conservation Strategy Fund-Brasil (CSF), the Brazilian Foundation for Sustainable Development (FBDS) and the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Since an initial diagnostic stage, BVRio has contributed to a team of experts to identify the challenges related to the Brazilian rural economy and forests, recommending proposed actions for future government officials at the state and federal levels.
In July and August 2022, PlanaFlor held four workshops for 90 guests from relevant sectors (civil society, sector associations, NGOs, academia, companies, government and financial institutions) in order to hear contributions to the final plan.
