Financing the Climate and Agricultural Transition

With extensive expertise in environmental finance and sustainable land use, BVRio is hosting this session to discuss financial strategies and field experiences that support a just agricultural transition, as well as financial instruments that can drive the shift towards a climate-adapted economy, expanding the reach and scale of climate finance in Brazil.
Morning discussions will focus on cases and financial instruments for sustainable agriculture, featuring SIM/RCF, Agroícone, Violet Vert, Green Fund, Produzindo Certo, IICA, SFB, Amigos da Terra and Proforest.
In the afternoon, the focus will shift to instruments and public policies for climate adaptation, with contributions from the COP30 Presidency, Ministry of Finance, SIM/RCF, Itaú BBA, Rabobank, BNDES, Santander, MMA, Banco do Brasil, World Bank and VCMI.
